It can be diluted and used as a wash, or applied more directly to support problem areas as needed.
For Horses
Neem Oil may be useful as a pinworm hygiene wash around the anus, and may help support skin affected by rain scald, greasy heel, mud fever-type irritation, minor skin irritations, itchy skin, rubbed manes and tails, dry or flaky skin, fleas, lice, insect bites and biting insects.
For Dogs
Neem Oil may be used to help with fleas, lice, minor skin irritations, dry or flaky skin, itchy skin, hot spot-type irritation, insect bite irritation, coat conditioning, and red or irritated paws caused by allergies, grass sensitivity or licking.
For Stables
Neem Oil can be diluted and used as a stable wash to help freshen and clean stable surfaces, walls, yards or areas where insects may be a concern.
For stable cleaning, dilute approximately 10–20ml per litre of water and use as a wash.
For Plants
Neem Oil can also be diluted and used as a natural garden spray to help manage aphids and other small plant pests. Apply to affected leaves and stems, avoiding use during the heat of the day.
Important: Always patch test first and avoid the eyes, nose and mouth. Use with care on sensitive animals, and seek veterinary advice for severe, infected or ongoing skin issues. Do not use on cats unless advised by a veterinarian.
